If you are looking to sharpen or clean up your basics and also understand how to build additional dance techniques on top of these basics, then this is the perfect ZoukDanceCamp for you!
This ZoukDanceCamp is geared towards dancers who are comfortable with the most used basic movements of Brazilian Zouk.
For clarity, this is not for complete beginners who never danced Brazilian Zouk before. Please see the pre-requisites further below to see if you are ready for this!
Additionally, this programme will help you prepare to meet the pre-requisites if you are planning to attend Anderson & Brenda week-long ZoukDanceCamp in June with us.

Teachers Introduction
Ludek & Pavla are the creators of the huge Brno Zouk community and organisers of some of Europe’s biggest top quality congresses which have inspired many others congresses around the World!
Ludek & Pavla & Monika has up to 10 years of experience and passion teaching Brazilian Zouk. We’ve selected them because of their teaching quality, in-depth knowledge of dance and technique applications!

(2) All participants are expected to understand and be comfortable with the pre-requisites above because we'll be training using these movements!
(3) If you currently do not quite meet all the pre-requisites, then please learn & develop them prior to attending this ZoukDanceCamp! You should consult your local dance school & teacher for this, otherwise, chat to us and we'll see how we could help!
(4) Couples registration only! Please find someone you will be comfortable working together with for the entire ZoukDanceCamp duration!
Workshop Topics
Along with teacher-guided workshops, there are also practise / free-time, please see ‘Daily Schedule’ section for the timetable.
- No workshop. Welcome party!
- Body posture & general dance technique, leading & following principles and exercises, flow in movement, safety on the dance floor.
- How to make a step properly, how to keep a balance, how to dance together. 😊
- Proper technique of basic Brazilian Zouk figures and variations.
- Principles of correct body shaping and head movements in Brazilian Zouk.
- Zouk styles – explanation of differences in music, the way of moving and typical moves for each style (Zouk traditional (Rio style), Lambazouk, RnB style, Neozouk).
- Connection exercises, contact improvisation.
- Advanced variations with detailed explanation. 😁
